Bob Connors - Superintendent, Bozeman Public Schools

This is my first year as the Bozeman School District Superintendent. Entering my 35th year in education, I have been a Superintendent (Bozeman, Glasgow), Junior High Principal (Stevensville), High School Vice-Principal (Stevensville), and Business Educator (Laurel, Choteau, Butte Central). I have also been a head coach in football (Stevensville, Laurel), basketball (Butte Central, Choteau), and track (Stevensville, Laurel). I received the NEMASS Superintendent of the Year in 2016 and 2018 and the MCA Football Coach of the Year in 1999. I received my Master's Degree from the University of Montana.


Scott McDowell - Superintendent of Anderson School District

Scott McDowell is beginning his 6th year as the Superintendent of Anderson School District #41 in Bozeman serving approximately 205 K-8 students. Prior to joining Anderson School, Scott spent 3 years as a teacher and principal at Amsterdam Elementary after being hired over apple pie at The Korner Cafe. This is Scott's 9th year living in Montana following 13 years in education in the northern suburbs of Chicago as a Physical Education teacher and coach. Scott has a BS in physical education from Illinois State University, a masters degree in teaching from St. Xavier University (IL), and a masters degree in Educational Leadership from Roosevelt University (IL). He also competed his Superintendent endorsement at Montana State University. This is Scott's 38th consecutive year of "going to school" in a variety of roles that has included being a student, girls lacrosse coach, assistant swim coach, custodian, principal, superintendent, and most recently... as a bus driver. Scott has been married to his wife Shannon for 16 years and their two children attend Anderson School.


Darren Strauch - Superintendent of Monforton School

This is my 21st year in education. I received two undergraduate degrees from Montana State University in Secondary Education- Social Studies Broadfield and Psychology. I began my teaching career in Opheim, MT, where I worked for four years serving as the 7-12 Social Studies Teacher and Activities Director, also coaching basketball and track. I moved to Harrison, MT after that and taught Social Studies for one year. I spent the next two years as K-12 Principal and transitioned to serving as Superintendent for the next six years. During this time, I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Montana State University. Over the course of my tenure in Harrison, I also served in roles as the Activities Director and coached track, basketball, and cross country. I am starting my 8th year as Superintendent of Monforton School.


Godfrey Saunders - Superintendent of Belgrade School District

Godfrey Saunders is an accomplished motivational speaker, educator, consultant and trainer on leadership and education. Additionally, he is a former science teacher, school counselor and high school principal. Currently, Godfrey is serving as the Superintendent of Schools for Belgrade School District 44 and an Adjunct Professor in Educational Leadership at Montana State University. Godfrey earned his Bachelor's degree in science education and his Master's degree in guidance and counseling from the University of Montana Western. He received his Ed. D. in educational leadership from Montana State University in 2008. He has been an educator for forty plus years. To him, education opens the door to understanding, and provides each of us the opportunity to practice our humanity on a daily basis.


Kate Anderson - Bozeman Field School Co-Head of School

Kate is an interim Co-Head of School at the Bozeman Field School. The Bozeman Field School is an independent, college/career preparatory high school in Bozeman with a focus on immersive, experiential learning. Kate has worked in a variety of capacities in the nonprofit and education fields. She began her career as a classroom teacher at STRIVE Preparatory Charter Middle School in Denver, Colorado, where she was a math teacher and curriculum lead. Most recently she managed school turnaround efforts for 11 public middle schools in Massachusetts, focusing on supporting principals with teacher development and staffing. She also oversaw the launch of two new middle schools in this role and worked closely with principals on school vision, budget and operations. Most recently, Kate managed her own nonprofit consulting business and worked as a Bozeman Field School part-time faculty member. 


A series of six (6) networking luncheons features vibrant speakers, engaging networking, various awards and drawings for prizes in a fun, collegial atmosphere.
